April "Photo a Day" giveaway

Ok so as I mentioned on the page I am going to do a giveaway, for the person who enters the most amount of photo's, along with me. The April photo a day is part of an instagram  #fatmumslim. So here are my first two days. Play and Blue tomorrow's is "something beginning with A". So i think I will have to do some thinking before I post my next photo. 

I am not sure what the giveaway will be yet or if anyone is even going to join in let alone see this blog lol. So we will see how we go. So here is a link to my page on Facebook and I will put a link to this blog on the page and see how we go.

Olympic Gold

So I think that if there was an Olympic gold medal for stacking an un-stacking the dishwasher in record time I do think I may win the gold!!
Only a parent can understand the pressure of having to get all of this clean breakable things out and the dirty breakable and sharp things in and the door closed before the hands of an inquisitive toddler who has either crawled or run from somewhere else completely, to be able to get the opportunity to touch all the things they are not normally allowed in the dishwasher!!!
There are so many great things to play with in there, the breakable dishes, the sharp cutlery and the disgusting water left behind after each wash.
So for this reason parents become the quickest in the land at this task! Which is what makes me think that if it isn't an Olympic sport....... Maybe it should be????

We have rain!!

So today I woke up (far tooo early) to find an overcast day and................ rain!!! In WA it has been so long since we have had any decent rain, just lots of days over 35 degrees! Even though this is a great thing the day started off not so great with my miss almost 3 vomiting all over me....

So I am hoping to get some much needed sewing done today and I have a few custom orders. I was thinking also as I am approaching my next milestone of 200 likers that there may be a giveaway coming up soon???

Has anyone seen my sense of humour???

Well I'm not sure about anyone else but here is Perth we have a over a weeks worth of 40+ degree days and I am starting to loose my sense of humour.
The kids don't sleep well, we don't sleep well and the days seem so very long because we are stuck inside all day because if we go outside we will burst into flames in about 30 seconds!! So cabin fever has set in and we are all sick to death of the site of each other!! Not the most PC thing to say about your children, but come on I'm only human.

So I have been working on some custom orders this week and am really excited as to how they have turned out. One order is for a couple of dollies and I love love love them, the other is for some stunning little girls clothes. So I will post some photo's over the next couple of days.

Patients is a virtue I don't have time for.....

I have always said "Patient's is a virtue I don't have time for"......... My day job is nursing and I am looking for a new direction. I had an interview today, (which is nerve racking enough) this interview however was a video interview, so all other kinds of things other than all the ordinary things you need to worry about kept popping into my head, what can they see  in the background, am i sitting in the correct alignment with the camera, do I look at the interviewer's when i talk or do I look at the image of myself??? AHHHHHHH I know I would rather have my fingernail's pulled out! Than have an interview, why then do you have to wait soooooo long for them to say yes or no??? It kills me!

Even chocolate cake tonight didn't help....... Now you know thats bad!
